I’m going to start rootin’ for the Knicks when they aren’t playing the Lakers, but I won’t buy any gear - so I’m not a traitor. I may start cheering for the Nets when they come to Brooklyn too… but we’ll see about that.

‘I’ve never seen this many Asians at a dive bar before…’

Guy at 13th Step commenting on the Linatics who suddenly came out of the woodwork for tonight’s game. 

Now I understand why my Facebook feed has had Jeremy Lin trending for such a long time. Where did this guy come from? And, how long is this streak going to last?

So, watching the Lakers at MSG was pretty impressive. Had no idea that there was such a big following out here. Every Laker shot sunk and foul called on the Knicks was accompanied by an amazing amount of cheer.

I did, however, get a few dirty looks in the Subway while on my way to and from the game since I was decked with my Laker 59Fifty and purp&yellow Hiero shirt. But, I don’t blame ‘em, I would do the same in LA.
